Business parks

The business park is located in the northern part of the town of Metlika along the Novo mesto-Metlika international border crossing regional road and is very easily accessible. There is a regional road, railway line, international border crossing, sport airfield and service facilities (post office, bank, shops) nearby. The area intended for business development covers 17.5ha, and approx. 5ha are already occupied. The area is equipped with basic public utility infrastructure – water supply, power supply, telephone lines, sewerage, and access to the public road. Planning consent enables the future enlargement of the existing business park from 17.5ha to 34ha, as well as building a unit with a floor space of 1,200sq m for hosting a business incubator. According to the adopted Rules on the allocation of municipal funds for encouraging small entrepreneurship in the Municipality of Metlika, the rated prices for square metre can be discounted by 50% of the estimated value for business development.
