The support institutions that perform tasks to promote development in the Pokolpje region are the Bela krajina Development Information Centre (RIC Bela krajina) and the Kočevje Ribnica Development Centre (RC Kočevje Ribnica). The coordinator of development institutions in the Pokolpje region is the regional development centre for southeast Slovenia, i.e. the Novo mesto Development Centre (RC Novo mesto).
