The Novo mesto Development Centre is a regional development agency for southeast Slovenia and is the coordinator of support institutions in the Pokolpje region. As part of regional development, it identifies and draws up regional development programmes, and develops regional development projects, strategies and documentation. It is also active in the development of tourism and rural areas, and has set up a regional scholarship scheme and Europe Direct point. With regard to entrepreneurship, it provides business advice and organises training, facilitates the securing of affordable bank loans and guarantees, offers assistance in the recruitment of appropriate personnel through a scholarship scheme, offers the necessary premises for start-up and young companies, and leases meeting rooms. The project office is responsible for the development and successful implementation of projects. The aforementioned body is a creative and effective team with several years of experience in project work and with successfully implemented projects. The project office provides support to your organisation’s projects, and to regional, cross-border and international projects.
